The comparison and management reporting can be used to show a prospective new customer exactly what one of their bills would have cost had it been billed at the tariff on offer. It can also be used to ‘re-rate’ an existing customer, showing the impact of a new tariff. Having set up a number of standard tariffs carriers can use Tariffmatch to re-rate all their customers in order to rationalise hundreds of bespoke tariffs into a manageable number. This can have a significant effect on the efficiency of their billing department.
